| HAWK OBSERVATION POST in my meadow. The Red-tailed Hawk Nest #1 is located in the center treetop of the woods at rear of pic. The inset photo shows a close-up on my observation post, located in the middle of a maze made from the selective mowing of meadow grasses. The dark square is a swivel campchair and it is app 900 feet away from the hawk nest. Optics used are KOWA TSN-824 spotting scope with 20x-60 Zoom Eyepiece mounted on a Wilderness Tracker tripod and Nikon Venturer 8x24 binoculars. |
